Using the philosophy that lies at the heart of her popular TimberNook program, Angela Hanscom offers strategies to help children fully engage their bodies, minds, and all their senses in the great outdoors. Hanscom sees outdoor play and nature as the ultimate sensory experience and shows how psychological and physical health improves, and sensory and motor issues disappear when children spend time outside on a regular basis. Hanscom is a pediatric occupational therapist and founder of TimberNook, a development nature-based program.
